HERE WeGo on Mobile Phone
HERE WeGo uses the phone heavily for continuous GPS positioning and navigation. As a result, the phone may heat up and the battery may drain faster.
For smooth operation, turn off the energy-saving mode and the optimization of battery use on the phone when navigating, and turn off background usage limits for HERE WeGo.
During intensive use, the phone may overheat and the navigation may even break due to this. If the phone heats up strongly when using HERE WeGo navigation, avoid the use of programs that use the resources of the phone intensively (navigation in satellite view, parallel use of another navigation app, streaming music, use of online radio, etc.).
You have to allow Location permission for the HERE WeGo app. You can improve your location’s accuracy by selecting automatic time zone, turning off the power saving mode and battery optimization. The accuracy of the positioning can vary by a few meters.
With HERE WeGo, you can navigate in the usual way by placing the phone in a holder, connecting it to a charger and using the phone's screen and speaker.
The voice commands of HERE WeGo can also be played over Bluetooth: Settings > Voice options > Play voice over Bluetooth. You can navigate even with the phone screen locked, using voice commands only.
