You can add waypoints to the route after starting navigation (you have to drag the navigation data tab upwards for this).
HERE WeGo waypoints can be selected with a new search, from the search history, or from the offered POI groups (Gas, Parking, Restaurants, etc.). You can narrow the search results with the Search here filter (you have to pull down the search results list tab for this).
You can search for waypoints before starting the navigation, and you can save them in a collection (in this way they are also included in the search history).
When selecting from the offered POI groups, you can also select the Along the route or the At destination filter to narrow the search results that appear on the map (you have to pull down the POI selection list tab for this).
If you want to select POIs that aren't among the offered groups, you can use the search button.
In the Trip overview tab you can overview or delete the added waypoints.
If you don't drive near enough to a waypoint, then HERE WeGo tries to navigate back to it, and you have to delete the waypoint from the route yourself. In Android Auto this function is not available.
You can also use the Quick settings while navigating.
If you change settings that affect route planning (offline and online mode, route preferences), then the route will be automatically recalculated. It is usually not that you want while driving.
